Our story begins online.  We met through a dating website over 7 years ago.  We talked, met a week later and as fate would have it we wound up being very compatible. We continued dating and getting to know each other for about two years and came to realize that we were meant to be together as husband and wife.   After our engagement we bought our house in a beautiful, quiet suburb of New York.  We put our blood, sweat and tears into making this house our home and a  warm loving place to hopefully raise our children one day. We planned a home wedding where we were surrounded by friends and family.  Our home was filled with so much love, laughter and joy that day and we knew then that children would be able to flourish here and add even more joy to our lives.

 

Our home is a center hall colonial situated on a little less than an acre of property.  There is plenty of room in the backyard for children to run around and play.  We can picture ourselves out there playing soccer, or volleyball or even tag with our children.  It is an inviting yard where children of all ages can have fun.  We spent an enormous amount of time decorating our home to be cozy and comfortable, a place where children will feel loved and safe.

 

Our marriage has been based on unconditional love, trust and a mutual understanding of each others needs.  Happiness and laughter flourish throughout our home as we truly enjoy having fun after a days work is done.  We host many family gatherings throughout the year, as family is the center of our lives.  Our families get together for barbeques in the summer and the adults as well as the children have fun playing volleyball, soccer, and bocce ball and numerous other fun activities.  When the fun is over everyone jumps in the pool to cool off and then enjoy a barbeque filled with lots of good food.  Werner is a whiz at grilling!  His burgers and steaks are amazing.  Everyone in the family contributes to the meal.  We are very close to our families and as a result our children will have so many wonderful memories and understand what family is all about.

 

Werner and I love to travel and have embarked upon many exciting vacations.  Werner’s brother lives in London and we try to visit him at least once a year. We also had the opportunity to travel to Paris and  Rotterdam where my Uncle lived for 12 years.  We have also traveled across the United States to numerous sites.  We can’t wait for our children to share in our travels and learn about their country and well as other countries around the world.
